Please, this kind of abuse should not happen to any animal else. A man has recently shared on Reddit the story his and his wife's kitten was dumped in the woods by a friend of his wife. Innocent animals deserve to live in love and care of their owners. Under no circumstances can such cruel actions be acceptable.
OP (original poster) started by telling about his domestic traumas that made him and his wife decide to live in another area. While waiting for their new house to get ready, they needed to find fosters for their three cats. A friend of OP's wife offered to take one of their cats to the Humane Society, and they didn't hesitate to trust her.
However, the friend ended up abandoning their cat in the woods after two days leaving it alone in an empty carrier. OP was angry at the friend, saying that she was an idiot and should not own any pet or have any child, while she was pregnant. After all, the friend still didn't let them know where she had dumped their cat. OP told his wife to stop having any connection with her.

Neglecting an animal and dumping it in the wild is cruel, and no animals deserve such things.

Cats are carnivores, which doesn't mean they can survive in the wild like tigers or lions. They may hunt, but can't totally enjoy their prey. Abandoning a cat in the woods is just like leaving an infant in the wild.

Some people even advise OP to sue her because they think it is illegal and abusive. Calling her an idiot seems too nice.

Some Netizens think that the cat actually died and the friend just deliberate a story to avoid taking legal responsibility for the cat.
