Reddit Users Disagree With Woman On Harassing Neighbor Guy After He Offers To Walk Elderly Neighbor's Dog But Not Hers
Kindness is free, and those who show kindness deserve all the best thanks and wishes. This man, however, found himself in a bunch of problems as he helped a neighbor to walk her dog. His story shared on r/AITA attracted 7.5k upvotes and approximately a thousand comments.
To begin, the OP (original poster) told that he's been living door to door to an elderly neighbor for five years. The neighbor is 86 years old, and she is living with a dog named Frank. Then this is how the story goes on. On a day when OP went jogging, as usual, he noticed the neighbor having troubles picking up after her Frank. As she was no longer able to walk her dog, the man offered help by walking it when he went out for runs/jogs every afternoon.
Then, another neighbor just moved in 8 months ago. After some conversations, she got to know the connection between the OP and the old lady. OP happily shared his routine with Frank, and seeing this opportunity, the new neighbor also wanted him to take her three dogs for a walk as well. The OP refused her request because she was young and absolutely could walk her dogs on her own. The old lady, on the other hand, was unable to take care of her dog in open areas or public places, so he needed to help her.
But, the entitled neighbor was unhappy with his answer. As a single mom, she told him that she felt unfair to walk her dogs and raise her kids at the same time. In the end, OP still didn't change his decision. Since then, the neighbor kept asking him to walk her dogs while giving the ridiculous reason for that.
Things crossed the limits after the single mom held a party for her children on Halloween and asked OP to walk her dog again. Angry OP yelled at her "How many times do I have to say no!? Like d*mn woman, this is like the 300th time and it's only been 8 months—walk your own d*mn dogs!" Read the full post below.
But some people just thought the world really owed them everything.

It was clear who's right and wrong in this situation. The whole Reddit felt bad for the OP and agreed that he's definitely not an A**hole. The new neighbor was wrong to bother another person, and it seemed like she was trying to harass him.Even a single mother would never do the same thing if she were in this situation.Asking for help once and getting declined is one thing, but constantly asking for help from someone and they dislike it is harassment and trash behavior.OP was thinking of installing a doggy door in the old lady's home to avoid running across the entitled neighbor. It was a wise solution! But some people just thought the world really owed them everything.
