Kangaroo Spotted On Roof Was Reported To The Fire Department, But They Thought It Was A Joke

A recent sighting of a kangaroo on a roof of a house was alerted to the emergencies authority in Queensland, Australia, but they didn't believe it was real.
Officers at The Fire Department, who received the report, assumed that it was a joke of the youngsters who made the call. Until further complaints of the same sighting were sent, they started to leap into action. And when they arrived, they did find the kangaroo on the roof.

It was unknown how the beast had gotten onto the high roof. Concerned locals were afraid that he would lose balance and fall. They had no idea how long he had been staying there, whether he was dehydrated or unable to climb down on his own. The kangaroo, however, didn't seem bothered at all. He just focused on his own business, hanging out on the roof enjoying the surroundings from above.

“We assume he had a scare at some point to end up on the roof,” said Paula Boon, one of the spectators and co-owner of Paws Hoofs and Claws Inc. “We have no idea how long he was up there. He didn’t appear disturbed in the least. He just sat there, looking around at everyone.”
Fortunately, The Fire Department was able to provide on-time assistance. After a while, the kangaroo was persuaded to safely go down the roof.

“Two fire department people came up on the roof and gently persuaded the ‘roo off the rear of the unit, which was lower, and he ultimately complied and jumped off. He appeared to be in good spirits, so we’re hoping he returned to the hills,” added Boon.
The animal was then taken to safety. After people were certain that he was OK, they took him back to the wild. Locals were relieved that the unexpected situation was eventually solved.
