A Tracker On Dog Who Uses Public Transport Independently Reveals That He Travels 30 Km/Day!
In Istanbul, Turkey, people are surprised to see a dog using public transport, almost every day. Normally, people catch sight of dogs following their owners or sometimes working as guide dogs to help disabilities get on and off buses without disturbing passengers. But this dog, named Boji, is using public transport alone.
And it's not hard to realize Boji is a clever boy. Regardless of whether he is trained by someone or he learns that on his own, the dog knows all the rules of public transport. He gives way to disembark the passengers, waits for them to come (and go) first, and checks if there's a spot left before entering the vehicle.
When it comes to the subway or the railway station, Boji waits on the terrace on nice days and goes inside if it’s cold or raining.
And you know what, the tracker says that he travels up to 27 to 30 kilometers per day, through 29 stops. Impressive! A record during his journey shows that the dog's favorite means of transport is the M4 metro line, a 27-kilometer, 19-station rapid transit line.
