His name is Bear, the rescuer of more than 100 koalas during the Australian bush fires. His story of bravery has gone viral on the Internet and won thousands of hearts. According to Bear's owner, he was specially trained for koalas. At USC and IFAW, the dog overcame many tests about patience and persistence before officially being on job. He worked in the dog detection team for conservation.
On Instagram, the owner decides to create an account dedicated to Bear and his moments at work. Here are some cute pictures that can help you understand better about his life:

It seems that Bear is an active dog. He is a good talented boy, too. He's the only dog in Australia to be trained and be able to sniff off koala's fur to find them. Needless to say, what he has done contributes to the conservation of Australian animal species and biodiversity.
Therefore, in 2020, the UK's International Fund for Animal Welfare presented him with the Special Recognition Award. Along with the award, the six-year-old Australian Koolie was also given a golden medal for his heroic feats.
