Three Women Get Arrested For Treating Cruelly With Their Dog Whose Back Legs Are 'Sawed-Off'

Every dog, like any other pet, deserves to have a happy family where they are truly loved and cared for. But there are still people that treat these adorable animals brutally. They abandon and abuse their pet. That is what happens with an abandoned dachshund named Buddy in this story. The poor puppy was found with back legs amputated, possibly having been sawed-off. The poor puppy was discovered at a Slidell trailer park with hind legs "sawed-off" that is being called horrific animal cruelty.”

According to Louisiana authorities, Buddy's owners, a 50-year-old woman and her 17-year-old daughter, and a friend have been arrested on charges of cruelty to animals. They said that Buddy's back legs “fell off” because of having been bandaged too tightly.

“However, detectives consulted with a board-certified veterinarian orthopedic surgeon, who concluded with certainty that the wounds on the dog’s hind legs were ‘maliciously inflicted’ and not removed by a veterinary professional nor by natural means,” deputies said.

In February 2019, the poor pup had allegedly been shot but his owners didn't give him the medical care that he needed, officials continued.
According to the authorities, the 50-year-old woman was charged with cruelty to animals, while the teen daughter was arrested for aggravated cruelty to animals and sent into a juvenile detention center.

The name of the mother and the daughter weren't released because it might identify her minor daughter.
Regarding the 17-year-old friend who admitted to abandoning the dog in the mobile home park was also charged with cruelty to animals.

Thankfully, the poor dog is currently in the care of local veterinarians and recovering well. Hope that he will find a new family where he can live happily.
