Woman Fences Off Her Lakefront Property To Shut Down Neighbors' Access To What They Consider A Community Area

Imagine that you have your very own piece of paradise, surrounded by trees and overlooking a beautiful lake. It sounds like a dream, right? Well, for someone like u/newneighborsucks, this dream became a reality when they got a special spot by the water. But as we'll see, this dream also came with some unexpected challenges.

u/newneighborsucks bought a lovely piece of land that sticks out into a big lake. She has a small beach, a dock, and places for boats. Sounds like a perfect getaway! But guess what? Her new neighbors and even strangers started using her land to get to the lake. That irritated her a lot. Although she tried telling people she lives there now and even put up signs, some folks just kept on walking through.

So, the OP came up with the interesting idea that she put up a fence, and put up a sign stating “private property,” as well as a sign letting folks know that her dogs were on the property. And of course, her neighbors didn't like this.
