Woman Dealing With Infertility Furious At Her Sister For Being Pregnant & Reddit Weighed In

It is never easy for a woman to deal with infertility and hormonal treatments when she always wishes to have a child. Though we are sympathetic with her, we have to admit that her condition isn’t anyone’s fault. Therefore, she doesn’t have the right to yell at another woman for having many children on her hand.

Recently, a 28-year-old woman known as u/throwaway-82919 shared her conflict with her sister to ask if she was too harsh to her sibling and won the backing of Redditors.
The woman was a single mom with two adopted kids and a baby in her belly at that moment. She used to be a volunteer when she was 22, and a mother had entrusted her daughter to the poster. She became the little girl’s official guardian two years ago, one year before she took in her daughter’s little brother. She didn’t plan to have another kid, but she had a partner for a short time and got pregnant.

The woman’s elder sister, Bri, and her husband strived to have a baby for over 8 years, but no dice. Since Bri didn’t have her own kid, she loved the poster’s kids. However, things changed since she learned about her little sister’s pregnancy. The Redditor thought her sister was sensitive because of the hormones, so she didn’t think much about it.

One day, the Redditor’s mother invited her and her sister to dinner, so she went there with her kids. Bri seemed uneasy whenever she heard about the pregnancy during the night. Later, she asked the poster why she had adopted two children when she could have her own kids. The Reddit user explained that she never planned to adopt children. At first, she only intended to give her first child shelter when the biological mother tried to handle her life. She used to hope her kids could stay with their mother, but she was still happy to take them in.

Unfortunately, Bri took offense and nagged at the woman. She felt awful whenever seeing the Redditor's kids. Besides, she thought the poster was horrible for stealing children from miserable parents who wanted to have kids.

In response to the unreasonable accusation, the Redditor told her sister that she didn’t have to take responsibility for Bri’s infertility. Her mother was dissatisfied with what she had said and criticized her for not understanding her sister’s pain.

Under the thread, netizens rallied behind the Reddit user while roasting her sister and mother. They agreed that Bri’s infertility was her problem, and she shouldn’t have used it to make others do what she wanted. Some wondered why she didn’t take an adopted child if she wished to have a child. In contrast, the internet praised the poster for being a brilliant mother and wished the best for her and her baby.

Some women shared that they were in a similar condition as Bri, so they understood her sensitivity. However, her demeanor was out of line and unacceptable, so they thought she had better apologize to the poster.
