Woman Comes Across Her Ex And Realizes Her Dog Still Misses Him So Much

Raising a pet is the same as raising a kid. Many couples are now adopting animals and providing them with love and care just as they would with their real kids. And it’s not surprising that these animals then develop a strong bond with both their adoptive mother and father. As a result, they find it challenging to cope with the circumstances when their beloved parents decide to break up. It's not difficult to imagine, is it? It's a feeling you experience when you're separated from someone you used to be close to. And this was what Gala, an affectionate dog who still had so much love for her dad, suffered from when her parents split up.
Camila Perman is Gala's mother, and she is the one who originally adopted the little canine. Perman was dating her ex-boyfriend and living with him at the time she brought Gala home. And the couple instantly fell in love with the gorgeous dog and treated her as if she were a member of their own family.

Unfortunately, the relationship did not have a happy ending, and Gala's parents separated peacefully a year and a half after adopting the adorable companion.
They were on friendly terms when Perman and her partner split up. However, as time passed, their lives naturally became more disjointed; thus, Gala's relationship with Perman's ex also grew weaker. However, Perman just has learned that Gala is still not over him, even though many months have passed since then.

The other evening, Perman and Gala were taking a walk around the park when they spotted somebody else heading in their direction. Gala was able to identify the individual in the distance despite the night's limited visibility.
Perman's ex was there. It felt like no time had passed, despite the fact that they hadn't seen one another in approximately 18 months.
In the video Perman posted on her Tiktok account, it’s not difficult for viewers to realize how happy the little dog was when she met her dad again. Gala suddenly switched from taking little to huge steps and ran into the man's arm. She knelt down and let her father pat her.

At the end of the video, the lovely animal grinned brightly as she felt her father's affection.
“It was so pretty,” Perman shared, adding that the chance encounter gave her and her ex a chance to reconnect as well. “He accompanied us to my house to make sure we got home safe.”

It's impossible to say whether the unexpected meeting between Perman and her ex-flame resulted in any flames being reignited, but Gala's feelings were obvious. When asked if she’d be open to future meetups with her ex—for Gala’s sake—Perman replied emphatically, “Yes, I think so.”
