In a 2010 interview, Robert Pattinson revealed, “I just wear a hat a lot. I have so much residue crap in my hair from years and years and years of not washing it and not having any sense of personal hygiene whatsoever. Even today, I go into these things where I’m supposed to be this sexy guy or whatever, and I’m literally asking [the studio rep] if I get plumes of dandruff on me, can you just brush it off.”

He also explained, “If you don’t wash it for 6 weeks, you won’t have to wash it ever again until it gets unbearable.”

Several sources revealed that during filming the Twilight saga, he stank and that drove people on the set crazy. While all people said his smell was awful, his ex, Kristen Stewart considered it great. The actress said, “It’s kind of an animalist thing that goes on. It went along with the movie, so it was perfect.”

But now, everything changed. The actor prefers to take care of his look and it is a huge transformation. He said, “I can’t tell if it’s because of my association with Dior or because I’m older, but I’ve started moisturizing. It’s been a quite profound change in my life.”

The Bat Man star can’t believe how much he has changed but he loves his new image and is interested in wearing luxurious things. He admitted, “I never would have thought I would be wearing chiffon, silk, and satin.”
