Vin Diesel is facing a lawsuit filed by his former assistant, Asta Jonasson. The complaint, filed in Los Angeles, alleges sexual battery, detailing an incident that allegedly occurred in 2010 at Atlanta's St. Regis hotel.
According to the lawsuit, Diesel, whose legal name is Mark Sinclair Vincent, is accused of forcibly pulling Jonasson onto a bed, groping her breasts and legs, and engaging in inappropriate behavior. Vanity Fair first reported on the lawsuit, and as of now, representatives for Diesel have not responded to requests for comments on the case.

According to the court document, Jonasson was employed by Diesel's production company, One Race Films, to assist him during the filming of 2011's Fast Five in Atlanta. The document also mentions that just hours after the alleged incident, Jonasson's employment was terminated by Samantha Vincent, Diesel’s sister and the president of One Race.
“It was clear to her that she was being fired because she was no longer useful - Vin Diesel had used her to fulfill his sexual desires and she had resisted his sexual assaults,” the lawsuit claims. “Ms. Jonasson felt like she was a piece of trash to be discarded.”

The alleged incident occurred in September 2010 when Jonasson was alone with Vin Diesel in his hotel suite. According to the lawsuit, Diesel grabbed Jonasson's wrists, pulled her onto the bed, and later molested her by running his hands over her upper legs and inner thighs.
Jonasson tried to escape, but Diesel reportedly continued his advances, pinning her to the wall and masturbating despite her verbal objections. “Terrified, Ms. Jonasson closed her eyes, trying to dissociate from the sexual assault and avoid angering him,” the filing claims.
