Tom Holland and Zendaya Defy Curiosity, Declaring Their Romance Needs No Explanations
Fans are always curious about their favorite celebs’ romance and the media takes advantage of it to make benefits. One of the captivating romances that has taken center stage is the blossoming relationship between Tom Holland and Zendaya. Over the years, their undeniable chemistry and infectious camaraderie have led fans to speculate about a real-life romance. The couple has largely kept their love story private, ignoring all of requires to explain their relationship.
Tom Holland and Zendaya first met in 2016 during Zendaya’s audition for Marvel’s first Spider-Man film Spider-Man: Homecoming. On the set of the movie, they teamed up well and sparks seemed to fly. While Tom nailed the iconic web-slinger, Zendaya brought the strong-willed MJ to life.
The two stars keep their love under wraps and it turns out to be good for their career. It’s because people will take more attention to their acting skills than their love story. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the Spider-Man star shared, “Our relationship is something that we are incredibly protective of and we want to keep as sacred as possible,… We don't think that we owe it to anyone, it's our thing, and it has nothing to do with our careers.”
Despite their hectic schedules, the couple often spend their time attending each other’s premieres and events to support together.
Recently, Zendaya's absence from Holland’s Crowded Room New York premiere got much attention. Holland explained, “She’s visiting her grandma. We’re two very busy people, and we’re on opposite sides of the world at this present time, so she couldn’t come.”
The actor revealed that Zendaya often blows up his phone with memes, “She sends me too much, it's like, I can't keep up! I delete my Instagram for days at a time. I download it to post and then I have to check my messages, and I'll have hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of things from her.”
It’s no wonder when he didn’t talk much about his feelings for Zendaya in an interview with Buzzfeed. Holland was also asked on camera if he has “rizz”. The actor replied, “I have no rizz whatsoever, I have limited rizz. I need you to fall in love with me, really, for it to work. So, long game.” He added, “I'm locked up. I'm happy and in love so I've got no need for rizz.”
When it comes to how they spend their time with each other, Holland told THR that they prefer doing low-key activities like getting on the green to putt some ball. He said, “I've given her a few lessons, … She's very naturally talented, a real athlete, so she picked it up really quickly.”
