Colombian actress and model Sofía Vergara, 51, was dazzled by the megawatt smile of the three-time Oscar-nominated actor Tom Cruise, 61.
It was reportedly a "setup" by Cruise's friend Will Smith, who played the role of matchmaker and invited Vergearo to a pre-Oscars party, knowing full well that the Top Gun star would be there.
But it was over so early because Tom invited Sofía to visit Celebrity Center for Scientology with him. However, that was not something Sofía was willing to do. "She was fundamentally terrified of Scientology." So, they split then.

However, the source said that Sofia isn’t interested in any romance in her life. “She’s going to let her hair down and party for a while, then she'll throw herself back into the thick of it and start dating once the divorce is finalized,” shared the source.
Meanwhile, the insider advised Tom to brace himself for a confrontation with possible suitors. "Sofia's phone is already exploding with DMs from eligible guys, which she's flattered by but not taking too seriously," a source added.
