These Otters Had The Most Hilariously Adorable Reaction After Talking To A Voice Changer Mic

It's always entertaining to watch a pet's reaction to something new in its eyes. Just like us humans, our beloved pets may get overly thrilled or intrigued about something they have never seen before, making adorable sounds and gestures, and their reactions are always so genuine that their excitement becomes infectious.
A Japanese Youtuber by the name of KOTSUMET has recently uploaded a video of their pet otters testing out a voice changer mic for the first time, and their hilarious reaction to this never-seen-before device melted the hearts of hundreds of thousands of viewers.

Now just how exactly did KOTSUMET come into the ownership of these otters to begin with? Keeping these exotics pets comes with restrictions and guidelines that needed to be strictly followed, as we all know.
The person behind KOTSUMET wrote: “Having an otter as a pet is illegal in most countries. However, in Japan, otters can be traded, although it is limited to domestic breeds only. Currently, severe restrictions are in place for buying and selling otters in Japan. There is a severe penalty for selling and buying otters with unknown birth origins without permits. Kotaro and Hana were both born in Japan and have permits. It is so much work to have an otter as a pet.”

This video of KOTSUMET that went viral on the internet features his 2 pet otters named Hana (female, 4 years old) and Kotaro (male, 5 years old). Otters are carnivorous mammals that feed on fish, frogs, crayfish, and crabs. They are considered to be playful creatures who like leisure activities such as building waterslides and sliding down them into the sea. Otters also like playing with little stones and other small things. In other words, these little guys make fantastic play buddies. In Japan, however, the ownership of otters as pets is strictly regulated by the government.

In the video, Kotaro and Hana’s owner bought a voice changer mic on Amazon and let his 2 otters Hana and Kotaro try it.
“My otters were mystified as they heard their voices on the microphone for the first time. Kotaro’s death stare at the noisy Hana in the video’s latter half certainly leaves an impression. I bought this karaoke mic from Amazon. It has eight different sound effects. I love its voice-changing magic and monster modes,” he wrote in the video’s description.
As soon as the microphone was unboxed, the 2 curious otters went on to personally investigate it by sniffing and touching it.

KOTSUMET then started to check the cute otters’ reactions by trying the mic on. At first, he used some random voice effects to catch their attention. As expected, both critters were perplexed and started looking around to find the source of those weird voices.

Next, the playful human tried feeding Hana and Kotaro and activated voice effects on their sounds while eating. The results were equally adorable. Kotaro who is known for being quiet while eating did not make much sound at all. While Hana, the noisy one, talks a lot even when she's eating.

Then, it was Kotaro and Hana's playtime, and the 2 otters were still not done being flabbergasted by the strange device, which turned the cute purring sound Hana makes when being cuddled into that of a robot otter. Poor Hana must have been questioning her existence when her voice came out like a robot. Kotaro was offered to sing a song through the mic, but unlike Hana, he is not much of a singer.
