There's a cute story about a cat that happened recently. This cat started following two women while they were out walking. At first, the women didn't know why the cat was following them, but soon they figured it out.
Meghan and her friend were taking a stroll along a local bike path when a young black cat unexpectedly joined them. The cat walked alongside them, blending into their group. It took them a bit of time to realize a significant detail—the cat was pregnant.
They weren't in a residential area, but the cat seemed like she had been on her own for a while. Her happiness at encountering Meghan and her friend was noticeable, almost as if she had been waiting for them. "She kept walking with us and was so friendly," Meghan shared on TikTok.
Meghan reached out to a local nonprofit organization, which helped her find an affordable veterinarian. This allowed her to get the pregnant cat, later named Wednesday, checked out and cleaned up. With no microchip and a clean bill of health, Meghan made sure Wednesday got all the necessary shots.
The kittens flourished under the care of their mother, and after some weeks of growth, two of them found their forever homes. It turned out that Wednesday was merely seeking a helping hand that day along the bike path, and now she's right where she belongs.
