Starving Puppy Seeking Food In Trash Under Rainstorm Gets Help From This Kind Woman

It’s always heartbroken to see starving animals roaming around to seek food. While your beloved pets sleep soundly on their comfortable beds after a delicious treat, many stray dogs struggle to survive every day, including little puppies.
Lately, a woman in Romania spotted a starving puppy looking for food on the side of the road under the pouring rain. She turned out to be a vet working for a rescue, so she couldn’t ignore the miserable animal.

“Denisa, our wonderful vet, was driving back from seeing family,” June Chapman, spokesperson for 1 Dog At A Time Rescue, shared. “[She stopped] to feed the strays on her way home as she always does, and saw a frail little pup so tiny and thin she could see he was in desperate need of care and his life [was] in danger from the speeding cars.”

It took a few attempts for the woman to finally approach the pup. The animal was scared at first, but he seemed to be moved by the vet’s gentle gestures. The rescuer decided to name the pup Toby.

Here is the sweet moment when Toby eventually met the one who would turn his life into a brighter page!

The pup was so small and feeble that he needed proper care immediately. Thus, Denisa brought him to the shelter where she worked in no time. Toby, the poor 1 or 2-month-old dog, now stayed at the shelter and waited for his forever family. He will no longer have to wander under the rain to search for food anymore.
“Thankfully Little Toby is now safe at the clinic with our vet Denisa and will receive all the care and treatment he needs,” Chapman said. “He will be looked after in a foster home until he is old enough to travel to the UK.”
