Starving Dog Nearly Gives Up Until Kind Woman Comes To Help

Being left outdoors on their own, domesticated animals hardly survive under many circumstances. Lack of food supply, harsh environmental conditions, and diseases will tackle and knock them down. In despair, these hopeless beings don't know who and where to look up to. They miserably wait for their endings to come closer and closer. All they long for in that moment is only a helping hand from us.

At the beginning of September 2022, when it was still scorching outside, a resident in St. Louis, MO, reported a black dog on a local street to Stray Rescue of St. Louis animal shelter. The rescue team required an immediate photo of him and decided to check on him.

Donna Lochmann, the chief life-saving officer at the organization, dashed to look for the poor pup. Since it was boiling, he was lying alone by little dirty water from a gutter and appeared desperate, without energy or hope for the future.

The heartbreaking image urged Donna to save him instantly. Realizing her approaching him, the black pup with rib and hip bones seen from afar stood up and followed her docilely. When Donna drove him to the shelter, the woofing guy enjoyed the ride with the chilling air inside her car.

The rescue team named him Curby and uploaded his video on their Facebook page, which was soon later watched by an animal-adoring couple who thought this furbaby deserved a loving home for good. The wife, Ashley, came to adopt Curby as soon as he was ready.

After a month of being fostered, Curby gained weight and confidence and transformed into the happiest, most playful guy. Also, he had a new doggy brother and was gently trained to obey several easy commands.
