Rihanna’s Ex, Chris Brown, Reacts To Her Pregnancy Reveal During Super Bowl 2023

At the 2023 Super Bowl, Rihanna appeared to get a shoutout from her ex Chris Brown just a few seconds after taking the stage.
On February 12, when the "Work" singer sang a medley of her tracks and revealed during the performance that she is expecting her second child, Chris posted a message to Instagram Stories with the words "Go Girl" and the emojis prayer hands and red hands.

Fans have observed Chris, 33, appearing to wish Rihanna, 34, well before, and this is no exception. The "Look at Me Now" rapper also posted a message on Instagram Stories in May 2022, just after the Grammy winner and boyfriend A$AP Rocky had their first child. The message said "congratulations" and included an emoji of a pregnant lady.
Before divorcing in 2009, the former couple had nearly two years of dating.
A disagreement between the two over the Grammys weekend in February of that year turned violent. Chris received a five-year probationary term, community service, and domestic violence treatment after agreeing to a plea agreement.
Rihanna offered her thoughts on the event seven months after it happened, adding that she wished him the best.
In a November 2009 interview with 20/20, she stated, "I want him to do well, have a great career, have a great life and grow up, and just take this as something that you had to go through to grow up and learn."
Chris and Rihanna have both gone on to new relationships since that time. Chris had a daughter Lovely with Diamond Brown in January 2022. Chris is the father of boy Aeko, 3, and daughters Royalty, 8, and Lovely.
The birth announcement for Rihanna and A$AP comes eight months after the couple brought their first child, a boy, into the world.
