Reddit User Tells Mom To Adopt Her Dog Or She Will Send It To Animal Welfare
One Reddit user, who goes by the handle u/Impossible_Maybe_577, shared a heart-wrenching story on the r/AmItheA**hole subreddit. OP revealed that she had a tough time with her health while growing up. Thankfully, her therapy dog helped her feel better. However, because her health condition was not good, she had to send it to her mom. But things got complicated when her mom adopted another dog and couldn't take care of both properly. So the OP had to take care of it herself. But as OP got sicker, the therapist said that she couldn't keep the dog and advised her to tell her mom to help her.

This is the full story of OP:

OP has been sick since her teenage years and spent a lot of time in the hospital, but her mother wasn't very supportive and even said hurtful things during that time

After the procedure, OP didn't go to rehab therapy because my parents thought she didn't want to go

OP got a therapy dog. Her mother promised to care for it during her treatments, but she adopted another dog

Recently, OP needed emergency rehabilitation, and her mom assured that everything would be okay

After three weeks in the clinic, the mom insisted OP leave immediately to care for her dog

For some reasons, OP couldn't keep the dog, so the therapist recommended holding her mother accountable for her promise to care for it

Here's what Redditors had to say after reading OP's story. They all thought that both OP and her mom were wrong here

One thought OP was in the wrong for that

But many Redditors agreed OP was not the jerk
