Polices Make Lovely Condo For Stray Cat Who Visits Office Every Day

This feisty cat started her journey as a street-savvy stray on the bustling streets of Boston before making her way to the police station.

The officers initially didn't think she'd stick around when they noticed her walking around the Boston Police Special Weapons and Tactics base. However, she did. SWAT Cat would appear during "chow time," engage the officers with affection and even wait for them to return from their calls and missions, demanding attention, meowing, purring, rolling on her back, and asking for belly rubs.
Over time, SWAT Cat grew closer to the officers and became the star of the team. The officers, smitten with their newfound feline friend, started bringing her food, shopping for cat bowls, and even conducting online research about cat diets.

Worried about her health condition, they also took her to the vet, spayed her, and got her chipped. SWAT Cat became the unofficial mascot of the BPD SWAT Team, charming everyone with her friendly and cuddly nature.
During this time, she was always healthy, happy to hang out with the officers, and excited for the future. She was a sight for sore eyes, but she was even more adored for the fact that she was friendly, cute, and cuddly. She was the star of the team, and she knew that.
SWAT Cat was not ready to become a full-time indoor cat just yet.

Everything seemed perfect, and everyone at the office prepared to adopt this adorable friend. Unfortunately, SWAT still cherished her outdoor adventures; she was not ready to become an indoor cat.
She didn’t want them to take her home or force her to sleep at the station. Hence, the officers started experimenting with different cat condos she could use when she came by.
So, to accommodate her wishes, the officers tried various cat condos for her use.

She didn’t think she’d ever have a home, that’s for sure. So, in the beginning, SWAT Cat was confused about those cardboard boxes the officers tried to make for her. However, everyone at the office wasn't exactly an expert in cat condo construction, and they were giving it their all.
From then on, SWAT usually enjoyed a good nap in the officers' cars, but as time went on, she began to cozy up to the cat condos they put together.
Surprisingly, the officers decided SWAT Cat deserved something really special, so they crafted a huge, custom-made cat palace just for her. It was a sweet surprise she didn't see coming!
The police force decided to build her a luxurious cat condo right outside the station.

Officer Jamie Pietroski invested days constructing this impressive feline residence, and the result was a stylish haven that resembled more of a cat mansion.
Jamie stayed up late working on the SWAT cat’s condo for weeks, but he wanted to do something nice for her. The rest of the department helped, too. They believed that the SWAT cat deserved a condo worthy of her title, and he wanted to make sure she knew how much every single one of the officers cared for her.

After the condo was completed, SWAT Cat moved in without hesitation, ensuring she had the best of both worlds – the freedom of outdoor exploration and a secure, comfortable home.
The cat showed her thanks to the officers the way cats do—with cuddles, kneading, and then heading back to her cozy pad. The Boston Police Department is always ready to welcome SWAT Cat, and the officers are just glad they could give her a place that suits her.
