Photographer Accidentally Captured Show-off Moments Of Hilarious Penguin

Penguins, which are aquatic, flightless birds, are quite cute. Though their looks might easily win our hearts, we want to focus on their traits rather than just mentioning how beautiful they are. They have such adorable qualities and occasionally do the funniest things we could ever anticipate. However, because these creatures prefer to live in areas where humans are not frequently seen, it is challenging to approach these birds and study their fascinating lives.
But it's not like humans have never recorded any of their amusing behavior. An experienced explorer and bird enthusiast named Brain Bailey once happened to photograph an especially cute moment of a penguin and published it widely online. If you’re curious, let's get started and explore this funny penguin moment with us.
Because of his job, Brian Bailey travels to a number of amazing locations. Saunders Island in the Falkland Islands is one of his favorites, mostly because of the birds. Bailey stated that the island is home to breeding Gentoo, Southern Rockhopper, Magellanic and king penguins, Black-Breasted Albatrosses, and King Cormorants.

"It's an incredible birder's heaven!" he shared.
Bailey enjoys exploring the island during his leisure time and taking photographs of all the various birds that come into his path. He was intent on capturing images of the gentoo penguins as they emerged from the ocean and landed on some nearby rocks one particular day. Before Gerry showed up, he was getting some really good images.
Like the rest of his pals, a less-than-graceful penguin named Gerry was attempting to leap from the water, but he was unable to fully perfect the move. Bailey intended to take pictures of his elegant pals, but all he ended up with were several images of Gerry trying his best.

"I was snapping away, and I caught Gerry leap out, slip, slide, slam into the rock, try to recover, stand up, slip again, [be] overcome by a wave, give up, and [go] back into the sea," Bailey said.

Poor Gerry hoped nobody would have seen his little accident, but he was unfortunate because Bailey captured it all on tape.
"Gerry swam a little bit and came back for a second try and successfully made it to the beach," Bailey said.

When Bailey saw the images he had taken, he was unable to stop laughing, so he decided to share the joy by posting them online. Now, Gerry has his own group of admirers who accept him for who he is.
"Watching Gerry was only about five minutes, but it’s brought so much laughter and smiles to so many," Bailey said.
