Brenda Gonzalez was relaxing on the beach one day when she was strolling by the water and noticed something odd to her right. She captured what initially seemed to be a shadowy sea monster lurking on the sand in a video that has reached 26.4 million views; online users later commented that it appeared as though a "demon" had emerged from the water.

You might appear to be a little jittery at first glance. However, the creature was actually Lolita, the 32-year-old's dog, who is four years old, and not a monster at all.

"Lolita is a very intelligent dog, she knows many tricks and behaves very well," Brenda Gonzalez shared with British media.

"The beach brings out the crazier side of it and we have a blast every time we go. I thought I was sharing a funny video, and I ended up terrorizing TikTok," she joked. "I used to just see my wet dog, but once with a friend, she said she looked like a creepy creature, and it’s stuck since."

Brenda shared the video on Tiktok, a popular video-sharing app where she boasts 13,800 followers. In the clip, Lolita can be seen stretched out on the beach, wagging her tail, and looking suspiciously like some type of black seaweed monster.
