The title 2023’s Model of the Year belongs to the American curve model Paloma Elsesser. She was luckily discovered on Instagram by makeup artist Pat McGrath.  Look at the past, Bella Hadid, Adut Akech and Kaia Gerber were previous winners.
For those who don’t know Paloma Elsesser, the model has signed contracts with famous brands like Nike, Inc., Fenty Beauty, Proenza Schouler, and Mercedes-Benz. and appeared in numerous magazines like American Vogue, Vogue España, Teen Vogue, Elle, W, Wonderland Magazine, and Glamour.

In an interview, she reflected, “My ‘beauty’ interrogates what we know to be the rule in fashion.” “So while I reap many privileges in the world as a ‘beautiful person’ my beauty in the industry always has to be qualified. There has been a positive shift, for sure, but there is still so much work to be done.” She aspires to be remembered as someone who encouraged critical thinking and left an impact on people's perceptions.
