Officially! All About Diablo 4 Beta: Leaks, Release Date And Trailer

Confirmed by Blizzard at The Game Awards 2022, The Diablo 4 release date is officially available which lets us know exactly when we’ll be able to get our hands on the grim, loot-driven fantasy game. We also got news on the Diablo 4 open beta, with players able to get early access by pre-ordering.

#1. The Diablo 4 release date

The Diablo 4 release date is June 6, 2023. The date was revealed as part of an extended cinematic trailer focused on primary antagonist Lilith, which followed a live performance of a song titled ‘Lilith’ by singer Halsey.
The action-RPG game has taken a step back from Diablo 3’s brighter colors and flashier effects in favor of a darker, gorier look that’s more reminiscent of the earlier games in the series. However, it still looks to be building on the more fluid gameplay systems introduced with Diablo 3, and should provide a welcome alternative to players who aren’t enticed by crossover mobile game Diablo Immortal.
The team at Blizzard says it is aiming for a more “grounded” feel to combat that places emphasis on tactical decisions and careful movement to avoid enemy attacks. Meanwhile, the quest structure aims to offer players more freedom of choice in how to approach it, with acts passed the prologue able to be tackled in any order.

#4. Diablo 4 Leak: Two Videos Show Unofficial Ingame Footage

One video, which is 5 minutes long, shows the in-game store of Diablo 4. According to official information from the developer Blizzard, only precious items will be available for purchase. As in Diablo 3, skins will be available for weapons or armor, for example, which will be available to the player in-game as “Transmogs” via the wardrobe and can be equipped.

The second video, however, is 38 minutes long and contains never seen in-game footage of the game: The player controls a barbarian, completes some missions for NPCs, and various skills can be seen to stop the monster hordes. The material presented already makes an extremely solid impression. However, it is also clear that this is still an early alpha version. The NPCs shown so far still speak like robots. As of now, players can still access the two videos via a link on Reddit.
