Officer Checks Out Paper Bag In Dumpster And Gets Shocked Knowing Who’s Inside
Animals, especially our beloved pets, rely on the love and care of their owners for their well-being. Unlike their counterparts in the wild, domesticated animals are more vulnerable and less equipped to fend for themselves if left to survive on their own. One heartbreaking story of this cruel reality is of a little kitten that was put into a paper bag and thrown away in a trash dumpster. Luckily, this innocent soul was noticed and saved just in time.

One day, a worker at a local hospital heard the desperate meowing coming from the dumpster and immediately contacted the local police for help.
Upon arriving at the scene, an officer from Carilion Police immediately looked into the dumpster and made a heartbreaking discovery: a defenseless kitten trapped inside a paper bag. Acting swiftly, he gently rescued the frightened feline and brought him to the safety of the police car.

The rescued kitten, who would later be named Toby, was then entrusted to the care of Angels of Assisi, an animal shelter located in Roanoke, Virginia, under the loving care of their dedicated team. Thankfully, the shelter was able to find Toby a foster home where he could flourish until he reached an age suitable for adoption.
Toby's story could have had a tragic ending were it not for the kind-hearted individuals who played pivotal roles in his rescue.

As Toby's tale of survival touched the hearts of many, people from all walks of life came together to celebrate his rescuers and express their outrage towards the heartless individual who had heartlessly abandoned him to his fate inside that dumpster.
"Nothing but a monster would do that to a baby," one compassionate commenter expressed on Facebook. "Thank you all for saving this baby."
Another voice spoke to the disbelief of many, saying, "I can't even imagine how anyone could do this. So thankful this baby was saved, and I hope they catch whoever did this."
