animals flower girls and boys at their weddings. However, a turtle being one has never happened before. Despite being unable to stroll down the aisle and carry a flower bouquet, this turtle was an honored appearance at her dad's marriage ceremony.

Paul McDonald rescued a tiny shelled creature at the local movie theater when he was eight. Back then, he didn't know how to return the turtle to her family, so the boy tried his best to persuade his mom to let him keep her. McDonald named her Colors. They grew up together and have been through ups and downs for twenty-four years.

Whether it is a sunny or rainy day, the man and the turtle never leave each other's side. McDonald described Colors as his lifelong companion. Also, his family, relatives, and friends were introduced to her. Hence, they are familiar with Colors being a member under their roof. When the guy first met Shannon, his fiance, he told her a lot about his shelled fellow, and the lady looked forward to meeting her.

Shannon is into Colors too. Thus, the couple planned to let Colors and Shannon's rescued female dog, Kylie, be a big part of their big day. Since they needed more help with the ceremony, they called Julianne DeChaump of Luxe Dog Nanny to watch over and prepare for their girls.

DeChaump was excited to chaperone a turtle for the first time. After making friends with these two lovely four-legged buddies, she fell in love with them and was confident that the idea would work. For preparation, Colors and Kylie were bathed gently, groomed, and dressed up as a cute bee and a gerbera.

The happiest day unfolded. Colors and Kylie enjoyed the crowd and stayed comfortably around the guests. Eventually, it was time for Colors to shine. DeChaump placed her at the top of the aisle and let her do the rest. Surprisingly, Colors did not go straight to her dad but turned around after a few steps and headed toward the band.

All the guests applauded and roared with laughter. The groom picked Colors up, and they walked the aisle together. He said he was surprised by her being interested in the guitarist's music, and still, he was proud of her because she wasn't scared and didn't shell herself even though a handful of people and noises were there. The video clip of this moment went viral on TikTok, reached nearly nine hundred thousand views, and gathered more than a hundred thousand heart icons.

Colors and Kylie were brought home for their safety right after the ceremony. Despite them not being there, their appearances dwelled throughout the day. The buffet named signature dishes and cocktails after them, and their photos were printed on giveaway cards for guests to bring home. Definitely, everyone will smile when remembering that wonderful day.
