Mayor Of Kingstown Season 2 Episode 9: Is Robert Dead Or Alive?
Milo approached Mike after Episode 8 of Mayor of Kingstown Season 2. He has something planned for Mike. Meanwhile, Bunny has returned to the streets. We still don't know how he slipped out. Many questions will be answered in Episode 9, but Mike will be caught between a rock and a harsh place. So, what happens next? What occurs in Episode 9 of Season 2 of Mayor of Kingstown?
Mike and Milo are at a cafe when Milo proposes a trade: his bonds and $16 million in exchange for Iris. Meanwhile, Bunny has returned to the neighborhood and makes his presence known by robbing a gun store. Mike has returned to his office after a full day of remaining under the radar. Kyle eventually breathes a sigh of relief when his brother walks into his office. This is only temporary because Mike tells him that he has struck a deal with Milo because he wants Milo out of Kingstown as soon as possible. If they intend to do so, they must devise a suitable strategy. Kyle has agreed. He also tells Mike that Bunny has left the house.
Mike is driving when he eventually speaks to his mother, Miriam, who is delighted to hear from him. She instructs him to check into Jacob Reed's case at Anchor Bay. Mike then calls Kareem, who tells him the DA's office has issued an order for Bunny's release. Mike begs him for a favor: keep Jacob Reed away from the general population, where he would otherwise be transferred from juvie, while Mike looks for a permanent placement for the child. Kareem accepts after hearing that it will be a favorite for his mother. Only a second has passed since speaking with Kareem when Mike receives a call from Ian, who requests that he come to the gun shop at Bonner immediately. Mike arrives at the gun shop and finds out that Bunny and his men cleared the whole store. Bunny is on the warpath it seems. Mike tells him that he will talk to Bunny about it. Ian isn’t convinced and wants to just bring Bunny in. Mike tells him to slow down and let him talk to Bunny first. Ian also informs him that Robert’s case has been dropped.
Mike arrives at the DA's office and encounters acting DA Evelyn Foley, who is, to put it mildly, upset about what is going on in Kingstown. She didn't manage to get Rabbit out. Wendy from Warwick Detention Center (Episode 6 of Season 2 of "Mayor of Kingstown") did it. If she had her way, she would do everything she could to keep Mike and his gang of police from turning Kingstown into a war zone. She also tells him that Ben Morrisey, who protested Robert's actions, has died. Michael was unaware of this.
Mike pays a call to Bunny and requests that he return all of the stolen firearms. Bunny tells him that he will only consent to do it if Mike brings him, Robert. There is no other option. Mike returns home and leaves a voicemail for Robert to contact him as soon as possible. Bunny is well aware that Mike will not relinquish control of Robert. Mike is aware of this and believes Bunny will attempt to approach Robert. Before this occurs, Mike must locate him and transport him to safety. Iris is somewhere in a chamber. Joseph walks in and tells her that he has purchased her for 3 hours and attempts to force himself on her, pushing her across a table and landing her on the ground with broken pieces of glass from a bottle of champagne on the table. While Joseph is attempting to choke her with a pillow, she manages to grab a fragment of glass and stab him in the neck. Once she has him pinned down, she continues attacking him until he is no longer moving. Joseph is no longer alive, and his blood is all over Iris.
It's late at night. Mike walks into the pub and runs into Kyle, Ian, and Stevie. He inquires if they have seen Robert. He orders them to find him and get him to safety as quickly as possible. Mike goes back in his car and dials Robert's number. This time, Robert responds. Mike informs him that he is a target and inquires as to his "exact" position. Suddenly, Robert notices some bikers nearing him. He knows Mike is telling the truth and tells him where he is. Mike notifies the authorities. He arrives at the location and discovers Robert in a bloodied condition. He can hardly breathe.
Meanwhile, Robert's incident will almost certainly cause Mike to forego the exchange with Milo that was scheduled for the same night. Will he then lose Iris? What will Milo do if he discovers that Iris has murdered Joseph? Will another conflict drown Kingstown? It appears that Episode 10 of "Mayor of Kingstown" Season 2 will have a lot of explanations and a lot of bloodshed.
