Man Opened Car Door, But Something Stopped Him In His Tracks

Are you afraid of spiders? This creature seems to be one of the most terrifying animals that can make someone scream or stay transfixed out of fear with just its appearance. Only the look of this species is enough to give shiver down to our spines, let alone the fact that it often baffles us when coming in front of us out of nowhere. However, spiders won't harm anyone if you leave them alone, let them do what they need to do, and then disappear as unexpectedly as when they show up.
Maybe a small spider doesn’t bother you much, but what about one that is 5 inches wide? And what would you do if you saw that huge spider in your car? That's what happened to Andrew Mcleay one night when he needed to grab something in his car in the garage. When he opened the door, a peculiar scene made him stop.

There it was, two large arachnids dangling on top of each other making Mcleay's heart thump. He couldn’t understand the situation for a few minutes. “I had no idea what was going on at first,” Mcleay shared.

He guessed the two spiders had a fight and the top one won since the other didn’t move. “I thought the top one was alive and the bottom one was dead, as it was limp,” Mcleay said. “Then the bottom one started moving, which freaked me out, but there was no movement from the top one.”
Let’s see this unusual scene in the video below!

It turned out that Mcleay was totally wrong. Two creatures he saw, in fact, was only one huntsman spider that was getting rid of her exoskeleton to start new growth. “Apparently, it’s rare to witness such a thing,” Mcleay said.

The spider got down from her shell with a thin line of silk after finishing the possess. In the meantime, Mcleay took a bucket and gentle relocated the spider to a safe place. He also removed the shell and left it in his garden.

After this alarming incident, Mcleay has been kept an eye out for any other spider whenever he gets in his car. “I keep looking around inside the car every day. If I see [a spider] in traffic, I’ll most likely cause an accident,” Mcleay said with a laugh. “But I’ve used the car a few times [since then]. No others seen, luckily.”
