Liv Tyler Steals The Spotlight Again In MCU Captain America Next Sequel Movie

In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, nobody ever truly disappears. They always seem to return in some manner, shape, or form.
Betty Ross, played by Liv Tyler, was last seen in The Incredible Hulk (2008), the MCU's second movie. While the Hulk himself continued to appear in the MCU, Mark Ruffalo took Edward Norton's position as Tyler's Incredible Hulk co-star. Moreover, Bruce Banner never got back together with Tyler's Betty (and even briefly dated Scarlett Johansson's Black Widow).

Yet it is said that Liv Tyler steals the spotlight again in MCU Captain America next sequel movie: New World Order. Ross's father, General "Thunderbolt" Ross, will appear in the movie even if Ruffalo isn't currently planned to (at least that we are aware of). Ross was portrayed by William Hurt in The Incredible Hulk, Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame, and Black Widow. Harrison Ford will take up the role of Hurt in New World Order after Hurt's death in 2022.
Tyler will "play scientist Betty Ross again. Ross is the progenitor of General Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross, who plays the lead character in the next Captain America sequel, which will be the first to have Anthony Mackie in the part. Since The Incredible Hulk, Betty Ross has only appeared in one episode of the animated What If...? Disney+ series and Stephanie Panisello provided the voice for the role.

New World Order has a number of significant cameos by The Incredible Hulk cast members, not only Betty. The film's antagonist will be Samuel Sterns, also known as The Leader, played by Tim Blake Nelson. The guy merely needed 16 years to carry out whatever nefarious scheme he had stored up in his enormous gamma-irradiated intellect.
