Still, her journey has never been easy even when she soon found her talent in the music world. It's also a reminder for those who are trying to deal with problems in life. With determination, we can all manage to overcome challenges and archive our goals.

Gaga went to study at Collaborative Arts Project 21, through the New York University Tisch School of the Arts, before she dropped out to pursue a career in the music industry. In her 20s, she revealed how she was mocked at school. People who are called "her friends" threw her into a trash bin. It's heartbreaking to hear, but it proved that mocking can happen to anyone, even to someone famous like Lady Gaga.
She shared that she was always regarded as a "loser" by her peers when growing up. In middle school, her unique qualities made her the target of taunts and humiliation. It's no surprise that her struggles led to depression.

#2 Her fellow undergraduates created a group on Facebook.

Lady Gaga's peers often focused on trivial aspects of her look, like her supposed "big nose" and "Buckteeth." She received bad words for her makeup choices and her tendency in music. They doubted her talent and teased her for aspiring to become a successful singer. Her peers even established a Facebook group called “Stefani Germanotta, you will never be famous,” which is obviously closed now.

#3 It took a toll on her mental health.

The famous singer revealed the negative emotions combined with the mocking stayed with her for a really long time. Gaga opened up about how it caused her mental issue, and how no one asked her if she was fine. Even her own mother, Cynthia Germanotta, admitted that she didn't know any alarming signs of her daughter's depression during her middle school years.

Lady Gaga is the first person in history to win an Oscar, BAFTA, and Golden Globe in the same year. Her Academy Award victory was for Bét Orginal Song for "Shallow," performed in the film A Star Is Born. At the Oscar ceremony, the star had an emotional speech as she received her first Oscar alongside co-workers Mark Ronson, Anthony Rossomando, and Andrew Wyatt. She tearfully thanked the Academy and her family, including her sister, who she considered her soulmate.

#5 She learned from it.

Lady Gaga also shared that her experience with mocking at school helped her a lot to play Ally in A Star Is Born, a struggling artist with self-doubt who wants to make it big in the music world. But, unlike Allly, Gaga was really motivated, “I was dragging my keyboard around New York, and I was pounding on doors. I really believed in myself.” To bring the portrayal to life, the pop star must recall her own terrible memories from the past.
