Kindhearted 'Angel' Rescues a Stray Dog On Her Way Home From School

People of all ages agree that dogs are wonderful, and they have been friends with humans for so long. Therefore, seeing a dog struggling in a difficult situation is truly heartbreaking for many people, and whenever there are cases like that, people definitely want to help. Today, let’s go through another touching story of dog rescue. However, different from most stories we have shared with you before, where the rescuers were all adults with sufficient experience, in the story today, the one who saved the little dog is a kindhearted baby girl. You could not imagine how heartwarming it is to observe this moment.

It was a wet and gloomy day when Mayane Rodrigues spotted something beautiful happen from the window of her apartment in Brazil. She noticed a young child hesitantly making her way on the pavement of the street below, back home after school. She had put her umbrella down, taken off her backpack, and then taken off her jacket.

Rodrigues realized that everything was for a wet stray puppy she noticed standing next to the girl's feet. After that, the girl carried the puppy in her arms and walked away. That moment was amazing, and to Rodrigues, the little girl was like an angel.

“It all happened so quickly. It was very emotional,” Rodrigues told The Dodo. “I sent the video to a friend who shared it to a neighborhood group, and then I found out who the angel was.”

The kind angel is Cibely Stiegelmair and she is only 13 years old. That day, she decided to help a dog, and she actually saved a life.

“I was startled when she arrived with the puppy because she was very sweaty and wet from the rain,” Rejane Stiegelmair, Cibely’s mom, told The Dodo. “There was blood on her shirt. I thought she had been hurt, but she told me she found the puppy injured.”

Cibley immediately knew she had to take action when she saw the puppy there by itself. "Cibely has a very good heart. She feels very sorry for stray dogs," Rejane said. "If she could bring them all home, she would." Pretinha's exact circumstances are unknown, but one thing is certain: Cibely has made her future appear more promising than it has in the past.

Pretinha was the name Cibely gave to the dog when she brought her home. And it is truly amazing when the puppy is welcomed warmly into the family's home.
