Jessica Alba Once Thought Marriage Is Meaningless, But Something Changed Her Mind
Although being married has long been seen as a significant life event for everyone, some people still believe that they are not appropriate for it and opt to live alone or even if they are married. a life partner, but will also not wed. And these are the first ideas that come to Jessica Alba's mind when she believes that the fundamental goal of marriage is just to live and preserve the race, not love.
When asked about her thoughts on marriage, Jessica told Cosmopolitan: "It's basically like two distinct families coming together to form one greater family. We do it for survival purposes only—not out of love". Jessica also highlighted that marriage has been heavily marketed for a very long time, including in Disney's children's stories: "Up to now, people even sell marriage like kids watching Disney Movies when they see Prince Charming and Cinderella try on shoes and get married."
Extravagance is yet another trait that makes Jessica unsuitable for marriage. She claimed that since many people consider weddings to be important events, women aren't hesitant to spend money on expensive wedding gowns, lavish parties, and other wedding-related expenses. Jessica, however, disagrees with that.
However, it was Jessica's present husband, Cash Warren, who convinced the actress to reconsider marriage, reassuring her that there are still unions founded on genuine love rather than only the need to reproduce. "No matter what challenges or hardships lay ahead, we will both adore one other" Jessica said. "I choose him as my family."
