Jennifer Lawrence made one of the most memorable and humorous moments at the 2024 Golden Globes. When the award for best actress in a motion picture comedy or musical was being announced, she mouthed "If I don't win, I'm leaving!" directly to the camera when her nomination was mentioned. Lawrence was nominated in the category for her performance in the R-rated comedy "No Hard Feelings."

Eventually, Emma Stone won the Golden Globe for her role in "Poor Things." She and Lawrence are close friends, and Lawrence stood up and cheered when Stone's name was announced as the winner. Other nominees in the category were Fantasia Barrino for "The Color Purple," Natalie Portman for "May December," Alma Pöysti for "Fallen Leaves," and Margot Robbie for "Barbie."

Stone and Lawrence have been friends for years because they both worked with Woody Harrelson. Harrelson worked with Stone in 2009's Zombieland and later worked with Lawrence on the 2010s Hunger Games movies.
Lawrence told Vanity Fair in a 2016 cover story that Stone got his number from Woody. "I replied, F--- off!’ And we’ve been really good friends ever since," she said.

Besides winning for her role in Poor Things on Sunday, Stone was also nominated for her performance in the Showtime television series The Curse.

These nominations brought Stone's total acting nods at the Golden Globes to seven and eight. She previously won at the awards ceremony in 2018 for her performance in La La Land, the same year she won Best Actress at the Academy Awards.

We're moving away from the awards drama to take a closer look at Jennifer Lawrence's nominated comedy "No Hard Feelings." In this hilarious story, Lawrence plays a Montauk Uber driver struggling with money troubles.

A surprising Craigslist ad leads her character into a funny adventure, involving a socially awkward 19-year-old played by Andrew Barth Feldman. This movie, inspired by a real-life Craigslist ad, not only demonstrates Lawrence's excellent comedic timing but also her willingness to take on unconventional roles, bringing a breath of fresh air to the comedy genre.
