It's obviously difficult to play the role of a "celebrity" every day, when you have to constantly give out a vibrant and pretty appearance. Both women and men face great pressure to seem "beautiful" in society's eyes, while also having the general public observe their every action. The demand on celebrities to constantly seem like they are boarding the Titanic for supper is far greater than the expectation on normal individuals who are not targeted by the paparazzi.
While some celebrities frequently change how they look, others maintain the same look for long periods of time. We were impressed by how a person's appearance may be radically altered by a simple change in hair color, style, or beard while we were looking at images of them. We thus made the decision to put ourselves in the shoes of a hairdresser and conduct a small experiment to see what they would look like after a complete makeover.
