#1. Spider-Man (2002 film) starring Tobey Maguire

In the 2002 version of Spider-Man, Peter Parker (Maguire) is bitten by a scientifically enhanced spider, which grants him the famous web-slinging abilities as well as strength and improved health, such as the ability to wear glasses no longer. Parker progresses from a high school nerd in love with Mary Jane Watson (Dunst) to a rough friend with Harry Osborn (Franco) over several years.

The first film was an origin story, so it featured Peter Parker's transformation into Spider-Man, Uncle Ben's death, and the introduction of the characters' wants and needs. Parker's motivation appears to be his desire to take photographs for the city's Daily Bugle and his love of Mary Jane. As he transitions to Spider-Man, he discovers that there are many bad guys to contend with, including J. Jonah Jameson (Simmons), who wants exploitative images of Spider-Man to sell papers.

Tobey Maguire is one of the most favored Peter Parker and starred in the movie when he was 26 years old.

#2. 'The Amazing Spider-Man' starring Andrew Garfield

In May of 2012, the highly anticipated The Avengers kicked off the 2012 summer movie season. The Amazing Spider-Man was released in theaters two months later. While these two worlds would eventually collide, the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Spider-Man were two separate entities at the time. While some aspects of Spider-Man remained the same β€” such as Uncle Ben's death, the beginning of the story with Parker in high school, and Oscorp at the center of the plot β€” this franchise needed to differentiate itself from the previous versions.

Whereas Maguire's Peter Parker was reserved, Garfield's Peter Parker in The Amazing Spider-Man films is more animated. He also gains his abilities in a unique way. Spiders that have been genetically modified? Check. Wrists with web-slinging abilities? No. While Maguire's Parker is intelligent, Garfield's Parker has the know-how to develop web-slinging abilities and other technology to complement his newfound superpowers.

Andrew Garfield who was also nailed the Spider-Man role, became actually the oldest Spider-man actor when he played Peter Parker at the age of 27. Indeed, many fans believed that he look younger than 'Tobey Maguire' Peter Parker.

#3. 'Spider-Man' in the MCU starring Tom Holland

Tom Holland's Spider-Man has no origin story. Unlike previous versions, his introduction does not take place on an awkward day in high school, but rather in Captain America: Civil War, marking his entry into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The three most recent Spider-Man films diverge dramatically from the previous ones. There's not much discussion of Uncle Ben, spider bites, or photography.

Peter Parker spends all three films in high school, and they focus on the problems that a teenager would face β€” or, at the very least, those that a teenage superhero would face. Parker is concerned about saving the world, but he is also concerned about failing a test and returning to his high school tour group, and getting into college. Just like the previous films, each Spider-Man movie rotated around an internal problem that Parker must encounter.

One of the most popular versions of Spider-Man included the Marvel Cinematic Universe's portrayal of Spider-Man played by Tom Holland. The actor was only 20 years old when filming the Spider-Man movie. In fact, not only Peter Parker but also his aunt looks visibly younger in the last 20 years. Therefore, it raises a joke about the transformation of Spider-man characters in the movie series. That's hilarious!

#4. And Here's how Peter Parker would look in the next Spider-Man movie: Spider-Man 4

As we can see, these Spider-Man films have aged a little better than when they initially were released. That's why Tom Holland worried that he might be getting too old for the role as Kenvin Feige has confirmed the actor will return to play Spider-Man in a new Marvel film.

Spider-Man 4 release date: The release date for the next Spider-Man film has yet to be determined. Rumors suggest it could hit theaters as early as 2024, but this remains unconfirmed for the time being.

Spider-Man 4 plot: Kevin Feige has announced that the story for a fourth Spider-Man film has already been written and that writers are putting pen to paper, which could imply that the film will be released sooner rather than later. One of the criticisms leveled at previous MCU Spider-Man films is that he has always relied on a mentor figure, whether it be Iron Man, Nick Fury, or Doctor Strange.

Who is making Spider-Man 4: Spider-Man 4 is currently in development at Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures. And it’s unclear if Jon Watts will return to director another Spider-Man movie.

The version of Peter Parker has drastically changed over the years. And despite being the same plot of superheroes beating the bad guys, Peter Parker has evolved and appeared in different universes that guarantee a new breath of fresh air into the movie series. Luckily, we don't have a baby Spider-Man as fans have imagined and we can't wait to see the new Parker in the Spider-Man 4 which will be released soon in this year or 2024.

What do you think about the transformations of Spider-Man over the years? Which one is your favorite? Please let us know in the comments.
