Here Are 20 Of Your Favorite Childhood Rock Icons: Then Vs Now

Do you remember the 2000s when rock was getting all the hype? Yes, back to the good old times, when we were banging on imaginary drums to the beat of “Someday” and "It's My Life”. At that very moment, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Linkin Park, and Radiohead are the guitar-slinging, head-banging legends whose music and style inspired a whole generation.
Well, these artists are all grown up now (if you ask), and some may have even undergone a bit of a transformation. Billie Joe Armstrong may have traded in his leather jackets for Hawaiian shirts, while Avril Lavigne still rocks the same style she did 20 years ago. Whether these rock icons still making hits or have faded into obscurity, they still made a part of our childhood that should never be forgotten.
As there’s no time like the present to feel nostalgic again, let us all revisit the rock gods of our youth. Maybe after this, you might need to update your playlist with angsty lyrics, epic guitar riffs, and that crazy energy.
