Heartbroken Dog Lost Her Only Family And Was Adopted By Mindful EMT

To a pup, his (her) owner is the leader, family, and world. When facing heartbreaking situations, big, trained dogs know how to calm themselves and look for help, but small ones will panic and lose their way. That's when they need care from humans the most.
In 2022, in Fort Worth, Texas, a man passed away suddenly due to cardiac arrest and left his puppy. When getting to the place and doing their job, two EMTs, Tegan Sliva and her partner, Kirk, found the poor, little woofing guy crying and cuddling beside her beloved dad.

The 12-week-old Doberman mix named Sammy was too panicked and scared to leave the only family she had ever known. Other people in the house didn't want to keep her. In this situation, Sammy would have to go to the shelter if nothing about her was done at that moment.

Therefore, two EMTs tidied up their ambulance and took the pup up. Since there was dust all over Sammy's fur, Kirk cleaned her with wet wipes and gave her some water. Then, Kirk's girlfriend looked after Sammy so he could finish the work, and they could leave the place.

After making up his mind, Kirk adopted Sammy because he didn't want her to endure the loss in the shelter. Kirk already had a dog named Kaley, who would be Sammy's big sister, so he thought another pup wouldn't be too challenging.
Now, Sammy finds her new light and lives happily for good. Her first dad will always be in her heart as she grows bigger, learns more things, and becomes a joyful woofing girl.
