Heartbroken Dog Ignored By People At Park Gets What He Deserves From Mom
People tend to judge others’ character based on their appearance, often unconsciously. Though it might be correct at a certain point, we should never judge a book by its cover. Sadly, this rule also goes for animals sometimes, which may upset the affectionate and lovely animals.
Let’s meet Axel, a 2-and-a-half-year-old Rottweiler with a huge body and a big heart. His love seems so tremendous and endless that he wants to befriend everyone. His favorite activity is approaching people in the park and feeling their gentle hands on his head or his paws. However, his size may be a hindrance to his attempt to make friends. “This sort of thing happens nearly every time we leave the house,” Axel’s mom, Rianna, shared. “People judge him by the way he looks before they even get to know him.”
The poor pup was disappointed when he realized the difference in attention. It was heartbreaking to see the sadness and loneliness on his face. “He felt really left out, and when he got home, he climbed onto my chest for a cuddle,” Rianna said.
“He loves everyone he meets and taps people with his needy paws so they hold his hand,” Rianna said. “If you let go, he’ll put his paw right back in your hand! He is a big, gentle giant whose favorite thing is making people smile, but sometimes he forgets how big he is and I have to remind him he can’t fit on everyone’s lap.”
“Axel changed my life completely,” Rianna said. “He is my dream dog and whole world. He fills me with happiness every day and makes me feel like the luckiest dog mum in the world!”
