But I think the ship has sailed. I’m getting a little older. I think they’re gonna be going with a new, young cast, but yeah man. I would do it. I would do it in a heartbeat.”

The movie, according to franchise creator Jeffrey Reddick, "is not just going to be another kind of 'we set up a group of people, they cheat death, and then just death gets them,'" he said (via Hidden Remote). "This is a true Final Destination movie," Reddick continued, "but it doesn't follow that kind of formula that we've kind of established."
Moreover, the only detail that has been disclosed about the sixth film is that it will center on first responders and emergency workers who are already intimately familiar with death, only this time, they are the ones who are caught in its path.
Reddick also provided some hints to Collider at how the plot of Final Destination 6 would change. Reddick said, "When I say it doesn't add a layer, it's not just, ‘Hey if you murder somebody in your place, you'll live." Reddick avoided giving anything too specific away. The universe is expanding, which is why I'm being so cautious.
