Sadly, in August 2022, the Riverside Cemetery announced that Bud had passed away after being attacked by a wild animal. Suddenly, Blossom became a grieving widow and wandered the cemetery grounds all by herself. Staff at the cemetery did their best to cheer her up by giving her favorite snacks and communing with her more often.#6. The last time they saw Bud.

Blossom seemed to have coped with Bud's demise. However, in several first weeks of 2023, the time of year when geese began to couple up, the pain of losing her lifelong partner reattacked Blossom.#7. "Is that you, Bud?"

Luckily, two days after their first meeting on Valentine's day, the two geese paired up successfully. From now on, Blossom won't have to swim in sadness and sorrow anymore. The new couple is by each other's side whenever and wherever they go.#16. Lovely couple are happy again
