Canadian rapper Daystar Peterson, better known by his stage name Tory Lanez is facing a sentence of up to 22 years in jail, including the shooting case involving hip-hop star Megan Thee Stallion back in the summer of 2020.

However, during an Instagram Live in August 2020, Megan admitted it was Lanez who shot her. A third charge – discharging a firearm with gross negligence – was added by the prosecutors earlier this month.
