Hidden Camera Captures Doting Eagle Spoiling His Wife, And Their Love Will Make You Jealous

Apparently, the key to a successful marriage or relationship is your attitude toward your partner. When you respect your significant other and learn to sympathize with them, you’ll be able to live in harmony together and build a long-lasting bond. This rule applies to both humans and other species, including “the King of the sky” - the eagle.
A pair of eagles called Jackie and Shadow has appeared in Friends of Big Bear Valley's hidden lens. The couple started their family in the sky in Big Bear Valley, California, and were about to welcome another set of eggs.

One day, people noticed Shadow had brought some tasty lunch home and was about to enjoy his meal when Jackie interrupted. She insisted that she should get the meal because "the one who lays the eggs around here should get the best treats." The birds argued for a few minutes before Shadow compromised and gave his mate the meal. “Jackie always gets her way,” Sandy Steers, Friends of Big Bear Valley executive director, specified.

Steers has watched this eagle pair every day for a long time and held a special feeling for the birds. This camera has let nature enthusiasts look closely at the lives of the gamebird. The eagle couple’s video has been shared frequently on Facebook and gained lots of fans. “Shadow and Jackie are the perfect match,” Steers said. “He’s very tender toward Jackie and lets her be the boss.”

Before Shadow, Jackie used to mate with another eagle. Though the eagle often has only one mate for life, Shadow appears to steal Jackie’s heart with his charm. Finally, Jackie’s ex left, and she and Shadow started their relationship. It was quite amazing, but they seemed to be a perfect match. Watch more of this pair in the videos below!

“This sounds weird, but you can tell that Jackie has a lot more respect for Shadow than she did for her previous mate,” Steers said. Shadow has proved he is a reliable and caring partner, who always accommodates the lady's bossy manner.
Steers is happy to see how people’s attitude toward nature and wildlife has changed after watching Jackie and Shadow build their family. He hopes everyone will be more aware of other species and try to minimize their negative impacts on these creatures and their habitats.

“[Jackie and Shadow] demonstrate how much personality and emotion animals have that very often people dismiss as instinct,” Steers shared. “You can’t watch them for very long and not think there’s more going on than just chemicals in their body.”
