Dog Surprisingly Catches Foster Puppy Chewing On His Tail

Meet Winston, the rescue dog who once lived in fear but has now blossomed into a brave and caring companion, thanks to the love and support of his family. Not only does Winston help his family foster puppies, but he also takes on the role of a teacher and big brother to these adorable newcomers. One of Winston's recent playmates was Ardsley, a lively and energetic puppy who had a penchant for playtime. She would often take the initiative to start playing, even if Winston wasn't quite ready for it. Emily Pincofski, Winston's mom, shared, "He would grumble when she walked all over him (as puppies do) but had a great time playing with her. We really are so proud of how much progress Winston has made."

One day, as Winston and Ardsley were hanging out on the couch, Ardsley decided it was time to play again. Without seeking permission, she playfully started chewing on Winston's tail. Surprisingly, Winston didn't seem to notice at first, which provided an amusing moment for Emily and her partner, Eric. They quickly grabbed their phones to capture the adorable interaction.

Amused by the scene, Emily couldn't believe that Winston was letting his foster sister use his tail as a chew toy. She playfully scolded him, and in that instant, Winston realized what was happening. With a swift turn of his head, he caught Ardsley in the act.

Emily chuckled, "I imagine she must have been chewing on the end where it’s really just fur, and when he snapped his head around, she must have gotten his actual tail. Although, I really wouldn’t put it past Winston to know what I had said to him."
