Dog Shows Baffling Expression When Suddenly Having Little Puppy Brother

Kids love parents’ attention, and so do our pets. These furry babies always want to be noticed, cared and loved by their owners. That’s why if you want to take home a new furry guy, you’d better ask your pet; otherwise, your baby may share the same response with Kevin in this story.

The adorable pup called Kevin has had a pleasant life with his family, Carleigh Johnson Stroup and her husband. All Kevin wants is the undivided attention of his parents, and he has been satisfied for 4 years. "Kevin is so sweet and loving," Stroup shared. "We can never lay down without him immediately laying down with one of us."

However, this only lasted until one day when everything changed out of the blue. Stroup and her husband welcomed a new family member, a boisterous little puppy named Lyle, but they forgot to consult Kevin before the adoption.

Who could stay calm when their laid-back pace of life was disrupted by a noisy guy? If anyone could do that, it was not Kevin. He seemed to startle when he suddenly had to compete for his parents’ affection with another pup. Besides, he had to acclimate to an entirely new vibe, the exuberant puppy vibe.

Kevin didn’t try to hide his shock about this matter. "That’s absolutely his signature, 'What. Have. You. Done.' face," Stroup said. Though he may be bewildered at first, he had no choice but to get used to his life now.

In contrast, Lyle, "the absolute opposite of Kevin" as Stroup called it, loved his new big brother immediately. "He only wants to go where Kevin goes," Stroup said. "He’s just absolutely obsessed with him." The little puppy was like Kevin’s conjoined twin, and he made his brother’s peaceful nap time a part of the past.

Kevin might hesitate to open his heart at first, but he gradually couldn’t resist the newcomer's youthful charms. "Even after all of Lyle’s attempts at ruining Kevin’s peace and quiet, they’ve become inseparable," said Stroup. "Kevin appreciates having a brother to hang out with when we are gone."

Lyle has learned to lower his energy level to fit what Kevin was used to. As a result, the duo seemed to get along well together. Another good news was that their parents’ love was plentiful enough for both of them.
