Denzel Washington and Dakota Fanning Whose Reunion In “The Equalizer 3” Trailer Beat All Reunions

Dakota Fanning and Denzel Washington's reunion at CinemaCon to promote Equalizer 3 is a great moment for fans of the 2004 film Man on Fire, where they played daughter and bodyguard, respectively. 

It shows the strong bond they formed while filming and their willingness to work together again on another project. It will surely generate excitement and anticipation for Equalizer 3, which is expected to be another action-packed thriller.

It’s been 20 years since Denzel Washington and Dakota Fanning appeared together in the hit action thriller Man On Fire, one of Tony Scott's best movies. The movie blew away audiences and further helped solidify Fanning. Despite their great on-screen chemistry, Denzel Washington and Dakota Fanning never worked together again.

However, fans are excited to hear that the two Man on Fire co-stars have finally reunited over a casual cup of coffee in the trailer for The Equalizer 3.

Production is underway on The Equalizer 3. and Sony released photos of the cast and crew together to commemorate the start of filming. We can see several photos of Denzel Washington and Dakota Fanning, and of course, they are joined by director Antoine Fuqua and new co-star Gaia Scodellaro in a few photos.

Fanning said, “I am just so excited to be here and to be a part of this film,... Getting to work with Denzel once is a dream come true and twice is... I don't even know. [I'm] so blessed to be a part of this, and excited for you to see a sneak peek!”

The actress expressed her excitement over reuniting with her Oscar-winning costar. She wrote in an Instagram Story of her Equalizer casting news, “My gratitude to share the screen once again with the legend of all legends is endless. Can't wait.”

Her sister, fellow actress Elle Fanning, shared a message on her own page at the time, writing, “The reunion to beat all reunions”
