Let me introduce you to Zombi, a loving cat who luckily got a second chance at life. When this adorable little one was rescued, she was quickly taken to the vet. She was in a rough state, dealing with various infections, including Calicivirus, which affected the area around her mouth.

Ahsen, a rescuer from Turkey, learned about Zombi's condition and decided to pay her a visit. Despite looking dirty and sick, the moment Zombi saw her new friend, she perked up and reached out her paw through the crate.

Ahsen couldn't bear leaving the poor kitten behind. She brought her home, offering a safe haven for healing. Zombi was the name she chose for the kitten, and Ahsen was determined to help her get better.

But Zombi still had a long way to go. Her mouth was crooked due to infections. Ahsen cleaned Zombi's mouth and began treatment at home. Zombi was happy to have someone like Ahsen taking care of her.

Before long, Zombi started eating without any signs of pain. She even drank from a fountain. She showed appreciation, adjusted well, and soaked up all the attention from her foster mother as her personality started to come through.

As time went on, Zombi gained a healthy weight and had two lower teeth removed to make eating easier. Her pain was gone, and her mouth was healing well.

Knowing that Zombi's health was improving, Ahsen felt so happy. It was clear that Zombi was on the right path to recovery. So, Ahsen decided to officially welcome Zombi into her animal family, where she can meet and make more fellow friends.

And after almost two months of treatment and recovery, Zombi was finally ready to meet her family. She joined her feline companions, who welcomed her right away. The moment they met, they started playing together, and there was no drama at the "dinner table."

The one that drew Zombi's attention the most was Zikri, the tuxedo. They grew close right away, as if they had known each other for ages.

“Being able to help animals like Zombi makes me happy. It is an invaluable feeling to be able to say ‘we succeeded’, to see their change, and to be instrumental in this.” shared Ahsen.
