In the official trailer for the Universal and Blumhouse production, CoryxKenshin appeared at the end as a fed-up cab driver expressing frustration at always picking up "weirdos." This humorous moment set the stage for the unexpected passengers he discovered in his backseat – a little girl and a homicidal animatronic with an empty eye socket.
In a reaction video, CoryxKenshin shared his excitement about being part of the film, emphasizing that he's not an actor but was offered the role by the creator of Five Nights at Freddy's, Scott Cawthon, who co-wrote and produced the movie.
Despite feeling nervous throughout the experience, CoryxKenshin described it as a "once in a lifetime thing" that he couldn't turn down, especially considering the significant role FNAF played in the success of his YouTube channel and the positive impact it had on his life.
The film, directed by Emma Tammi, features Josh Hutcherson as the lead, playing a security guard attempting to survive the haunted arcade/pizza parlor. Alongside Hutcherson, the cast includes Piper Rubio, Kat Conner Sterling, Mary Stuart Masterson, and Matthew Lillard.
