Cockatoo Bird Can't Hold Back Emotion When Reuniting His Favorite Human Again
Have you ever met someone amazing and found yourself acting inappropriately because you were unable to control your emotions? Or do you occasionally get overexcited about something that just happened by accident? animals have their own ideas and feelings, just like people do. Sometimes, especially when they meet the right person, they may communicate their emotions just as intensely as people do. This is the tale of Tofu, an emotional bird that is overcome with emotion when given the opportunity to reunite with his favorite person after a protracted period apart.
“After the destruction, COVID caused we had to send birds to Foster Homes and pray they were loved and cared for,” Mercedes Kemp said in the caption of a video they shared on YouTube. “Tofu was on that list, and at the time we were not even sure if we could take him back, let alone when that would be.
Even yet, they are one of the most abandoned birds despite being a "favorite." Although the mimicking and motions at first appear charming, cockatoos require a lot of patience and care. Because of their actions and raucous vocalizations, these birds can be difficult to care for.
She stated that individuals would frequently state, "I want him." But ultimately they'll also give up on the bird, lock it up, or give it back.
Gradually, Tofu has become “store staff” because people at the store refuse to sell him or pass him from home to home. And to raise awareness, Tofu took on the role of "Spokes Bird” for responsible pet raising.
Despite being transported to a strange place, Tofu got the chance to come home quite quickly. The foster family where they had placed Tofu brought him into the store so Kemp could groom him and check him out.
As Kemp opened his crate, the cockatoo excitedly hopped out and clutched onto her finger. His feathered crest perked up, and he started bouncing on his handler’s hand.

Tofu works as a "staff member" at Feathered Follies, a business that specializes in providing items for pets with avian requirements. But as the virus swept the nation, the shop was forced to make difficult decisions. And it was sending Tofu to a foster home. It's unfortunate, but the change was required to guarantee that Tofu continues to receive the greatest care even if he can no longer be in the store.“After the destruction, COVID caused we had to send birds to Foster Homes and pray they were loved and cared for,” Mercedes Kemp said in the caption of a video they shared on YouTube. “Tofu was on that list, and at the time we were not even sure if we could take him back, let alone when that would be.

Kemp claims that many individuals, however, are ignorant when it comes to caring for cockatoos. Because of this, individuals may purchase these birds impulsively and then give them away after realizing how much labor is involved in raising them. She stated that individuals would frequently state, "I want him." The shop is also slowly opening back, which means that the "Spoke Bird" will once again be available. Kemp is currently the legal owner of both the shop and Tofu. Because these two love each other so much, it is obvious that the little bird is in wonderful hands.Source: Feathered Follies
