Cat Paws At Window Every Day Asking Woman To Give Him Loving Forever Home

Though cats are one of the most beloved pets due to their amazing appearance and personality, sadly, there are still a lot of stray cats wandering the streets in search of food, water, and a loving home every day. It might be, however, very challenging for these poor friends to find assistance. Given that humans and animals do not share a common language system, it is undoubtedly difficult for pets to express their true emotions when they are in need of help.

Nevertheless, being difficult does not mean there is no way for these smart cats to deliver their thoughts. Our adorable friends always have their own methods to convey just how badly they need assistance. Just like the kitten in our story today, he needed help, and this was how he asked for it.

Anna, a cat fosterer, one day noticed a stray cat outside her house, and that was Bart. Though he spent time wandering around Anna’s house, he initially refused to be touched by her and her roommate. He would only observe them from a distance.

After that, he was offered food by Anna and her friends, and he returned more frequently after receiving food from them. On occasion, he would wait for them on the ledge of their window. During that waiting time, he would scratch and paw at the window at night until they noticed him.

Anna, however, was unable to allow Bart inside because she already had a cat and was also adopting additional cats.

For the first few months, Bart did not let them touch him. “The first time he showed any interest in us, he was in the window. My roommate just reached her hand out and started to pet him,” Anna told The Dodo, an animal channel.

After that incident, Bart wanted the house’s owners to be outside to pet and play with him all the time. Bart adored being petted, and he could not get enough of it. When Anna and her friend did not join him in playing, he would occasionally just lay there.

It took Bart about five or six months of hanging around outside Anna’s house before he felt comfortable around them. When Anna had to leave him and go somewhere, he began to follow her everywhere and start crying. When he finally sat on her lap, Anna understood how much he needed love and care. “I knew I could not leave him behind.”

When Anna relocated, she borrowed a trap from the Humane Society in order to capture Bart and take him with her. He was so mischievous that it took them eight hours to finally get him into a cage. Not long after that, they moved into a new home, and Bart was initially unsure about his new environment. He was tentative when he moved around their new bedroom.

However, he appeared completely happy and content while Anna was petting him. Being next to his new owner, Bart feels comfortable in his new home. Anna says he enjoys playing and is very sweet, always following her wherever she goes. “To have a cat who wants to follow you around I feel like I have a best friend,” said Anna.

Anna stated that knowing she saved Bart's life is the best feeling she has ever had. We are sure Bart agrees.
