Cat Napping On Sidewalk And Accidentally Raising Charity Funds

Obviously, passersby couldn't resist the adorable cat's charisma. Some paused to flash a warm smile, while others knelt down to give him pets and love. Surprisingly, many people in the crowd even decided to take it up a notch and even contributed their money to this unexpected street show.

You might assume he's a stray cat, but in fact, he's not. This lovely four-legged friend is the beloved pet of Golden Eye Jewellery, a store nearby. His name is Tarik.

Ender, the store's spokesperson, shared the heartwarming story of how Tarik became an internet sensation. "Tarik came to us two years ago," Ender said. "He was very weak and sick. We took him in with us and fed him. As you can see, now he is fat and lazy— very sweet and docile cat."

But Tarik isn't your typical introverted cat. “Tarik loves the attention very much,” Ender said. He loves to venture outside the store, plopping down on the sidewalk and inviting everyone to give him some affection.

On that particular day, Tarik's outgoing personality turned into a mini fortune, with generous strangers leaving behind a pile of money. Ender made sure it went to a good cause.

“We feed around 15 stray cats a day,” Ender said. “We had a nice banquet for Tarik’s friends with the money he collected, buying them nice food. Our goal is to increase people’s interest in stray animals.

In his own charming way, Tarik made a positive impact on the lives of his fellow feline friends.

"We're big cat lovers," Ender confessed. And judging by the crowd's reactions that day, it was clear that Tarik's adorable nature had touched the hearts of many, reminding us all of the joy that animals can bring, even in the most unexpected places.
